This program offers international experience in management consulting and supply chain consulting, serving not only DHL Group clients but also other international clients.

How Does the Program Work:

Participants begin their journey in Bonn, where they acquire essential consulting knowledge and skills, along with a thorough understanding of DHL Group divisions and functions.

After approximately 12-18 months in Bonn, they transition to Miami for the next phase of their career.

Throughout the program, DHL Consulting provides comprehensive support, including relocation, visas, and other logistics for their time in Bonn and their subsequent move to the US.

Why should I apply for this career program?

This program offers you a unique opportunity to embrace diverse culture, enhance your career through a global perspective and get inspired by your mentors.

What qualifications are required to apply for this program?

Applicants should have an outstanding academic (Bachelor, Masters, MBA or PhD) and professional records with at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in operational or strategic topics or in consulting. Fluency in English is essential – Spanish language skills a plus.

When is the starting date of this program?

Starting dates are available on the first of each month of 2025 except from January. Applicants can indicate their preferred starting month on the application form.

What is the timing of the recruiting process?

Applications will be accepted until September 9, 2024. Interview preparation will take place between September and October 2024, and interviews will be held on a rolling basis.

How long is the program, and what are the specific durations in Bonn and Miami?

You will kick off your journey in Bonn for at least 12-18 months. Following this initial phase, you will have the opportunity to transfer to our team in Miami, depending on your progress and development. The exact timing of the move and the location change will be determined jointly.

Can I apply if I don't have experience in consulting or supply chain management?

We are always looking for exceptional people—for this position you ideally have management consulting experience. 

When will I get feedback on my application?

We will inform you about next steps within two weeks of submitting your application.

What support does DHL Consulting provide for my relocation?

DHL Consulting will cover the costs for the employee's move to the USA as well as the costs for applying for and obtaining a visa required for work in the USA.

Are there opportunities for advancement within DHL Consulting or other parts of the DHL Group after completing the program?

This program offers you a unique opportunity to develop personally and professionally, as well as to improve your capabilities towards your personal goals. You will explore not only the headquarters of DHL Consulting in Bonn but also our office in Miami, where an experienced global perspective meets the energy of a start-up. It will help you best prepare for what comes next in your career: within DHL Consulting or other parts of DHL Group.

Is there mentorship available within the program?

First, you are assigned a “buddy” to help you get settled. A fellow consultant organizes a broad range of onboardings and training on your first days. The buddy is open to any questions, and can even help you find an apartment or things to do in the city. Second, a member of the management team is your “personal developer” – guiding you throughout your career at DHL Consulting. You can discuss any questions or concerns and, together, you will plan the best steps for your development.
