FAQs

Must I be currently enrolled in a university to qualify for an internship?
Yes. All interns must be enrolled in a university throughout their internship (DHL Group regulations). However, during gap periods/years between your bachelor or master studies, you may also apply for an internship.
When are the possible starting dates for the internship?
Possible starting dates are the 1st of February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September or October. Please indicate your possible starting date in the application form.  ​
What is the duration of the Elevate Internship Program?
The internship typically lasts for 10 - 14 weeks.
What qualifications are required to apply for the Elevate Internship?
You should be enrolled in a Master’s degree program at a university or be taking a gap year between their Bachelor and Master studies. You must have outstanding academic and professional records. Previous internships in strategic or management consultancy areas would be advantageous. Ideally, you will have gained initial international experience through studies or internships abroad. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is fluency in English (no German required).
What can interns expect to gain from this experience?
Interns will gain invaluable real-life consulting skills and work closely with a team of management consultants on projects. They will also receive comprehensive training, coaching, and mentoring, and have opportunities to network at various events.
Is the Elevate Internship a paid position?
Yes, the Elevate Internship is a paid opportunity. We believe in recognizing the contributions of our interns and offer competitive compensation during the porgram. 
Are there opportunities for permanent employment after the internship?
Successful interns may have the opportunity to join DHL Consulting as a Consultant after graduation.
