Who you'll work with: 
You will be a value-add and collaborative participant of the Human Resources Team of DHL Consulting based in Bonn. Our team of passionate HR professionals focuses on attracting a diverse pool of talents that represent the communities we live and work in. We are also responsible for managing the full range of professional development activities - putting the emphasis on staffing and learning activities for the consulting professionals. You will collaborate closely with all team members to ensure cohesion and establish effective working relationships with our consulting team and office leadership to ensure the best candidate experience is delivered, every time. Our Recruiting Team is driving and managing all aspects of management consulting and data science roles.  
There is flexibility to hire at (Junior) recruiter or recruiting specialist level based on experience. 

What you'll do

In this role, you will work on our sourcing strategy so that we can identify and attract the best candidates for our international graduate recruiting. You will be responsible for the full life cycle by turning profile requirements into an effective sourcing approach using an appropriate combination of direct sourcing, posting, and referrals to approach, attract and develop candidate interest.  

You will manage a high volume of online applications, process, and track applications, monitor candidate assessment results, and update our candidate management database. You will manage end-to-end our candidate interview process including scheduling and coordinating interview days. As the go-to person for our candidates, you will accompany them through the entire hiring process and even beyond. This includes proactively building applicant pipelines to meet current and future business needs and maintaining relationships with past candidates for future opportunities. You will monitor and evaluate sourcing trends and recruiting KPIs to ensure the quality of our recruitment processes. 

You will also be planning, coordinating, and attending selected recruiting and employer branding events (virtually and in-person) and being the contact person for prospects turning them into applicants. If needs arise you will also be involved in recruiting projects targeted to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes. 

  • University degree  
  • 1-3 years of a proven record in recruiting or talent acquisition gained at either a corporate recruiting function, consultancy or executive search firm focused on identifying, attracting, and hiring highly talented individuals who are in great demand
  • Good knowledge of marketplace trends and recruiting processes and comfort in managing the full lifecycle of recruiting candidates; executive search skills advantageous  
  • Passion for and first experience in defining innovative approaches for recruiting diverse profiles across ethnic and gender diversity; out of the box thinker to find and attract these profiles with a proven track record in successful hiring
  • Fluency in English and German (orally and written) 
  • Entrepreneurial and creative mindset 
  • International experience desired 
  • Proficiency in relevant tools, i.e. Applicant Tracking Systems (ideally Avature), MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel), LinkedIn
