Talent Acquisition Specialist (d/f/m) - DHL Consulting

Who you'll work with:  
You will be a core member of the Human Resources Team of DHL Consulting based in Bonn. Our team of ten passionate HR professionals focuses on attracting, developing and supporting a diverse pool of consulting professionals who represent the communities we live and work in. In your recruiting efforts, you will collaborate closely with all team members to ensure cohesion and effective working relationships. Maintaining a synergistic relationship with our consulting team and office leadership is paramount in delivering an exceptional candidate experience. This position provides the option of a part-time contract requiring a minimum of 32 hours per week. You will be expected to travel within Europe occasionally to champion our company at recruiting events. 


What you'll do:  
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, with a particular focus on students and graduates, guiding them through the entire hiring process and beyond. 
  • Manage a high volume of applications, mainly for management consulting roles, including processing and tracking, monitoring candidate assessment results, and updating our candidate management database. 
  • Responsible for the end-to-end candidate interview process, scheduling and coordinating interview days, working closely together with our Consultants and Management team.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with agencies, universities, student organizations, and other providers aligned with our strategic targets. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in recruiting and employer branding events, both virtually and in-person, serving as the contact person for prospects and converting them into applicants. 
  • Proactively build applicant pipelines to meet current and future business needs and maintain relationships with past candidates for future opportunities. 
  • Monitor and evaluate sourcing trends and recruiting key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the effectiveness and quality of our recruitment processes. 
  • Contribute to recruiting projects aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes when needed. 


Qualifications: 
  • University degree, ideally in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Marketing, Recruiting, or related fields. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, gained at a consultancy, executive search firm, or corporate recruiting function, with a focus on identifying, attracting, and hiring highly talented individuals. 
  • Proficiency in relevant tools, such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ideally Avature), MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel), and LinkedIn Recruiter. 
  • Affinity for reports, data, and systems, with an eagerness to learn system configurations and design data analytics approaches. 
  • First experience in active sourcing to effectively find and attract candidates 
  • Strong knowledge of marketplace trends and recruiting processes. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for defining innovative approaches to recruit diverse candidates. 
  • Persuasive personality with the confidence to manage the full lifecycle of our candidates. 
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); fluency in German is a plus. 
  • International experience is desired.
